Ocala’s first historic district was the setting for the 1903 construction of this Victorian house by a businessman named William Camp. It is located at 910 SE Fifth St in the Ocala Historic District. The current owner of the William Nelson Camp House is offering the house free to anyone who can move the building to another location. The house is in need of repairs.

The houses on Alexander Street marked with a red & white X are being offered for free by Princeton University. These marks indicate to the local fire department that the buildings are empty. The houses, located just south of campus, must be moved by the new owners to another location.  These houses have been used for a number of purposes, including as university offices.

This historic house includes mantles and moldings on the interior with millwork on the front porch and chimney. The building might be eligible for state and federal tax credits for certified historic rehabilitation. It is located in the Augusta Downtown Historic District at 544 Walker Street.

Buckhead Mansion & Nearby Condos

 

Thomas Jefferson’s great great grandson, Hollins Randolph, lived in this mansion that was built for him in 1924. The mansion is located on Peachtree Road next to the condos at 2500 Peachtree. It is free to move anywhere in Atlanta as long as the house has enough space to pass on access roads.
