Four historical Florida homes are being given away free to someone who can move them from their current location. These are historical homes built in the early 1900s. Among the styles are a Craftman’s Bungalow, a frame vernacular, and a brick structure. Whoever receives one of these houses will help to preserve this architecture by helping to avoid its demolition.
The stipulations are that the move must be a reasonable distance from their current location, the new site must have enough space, and the new owners must have the necessary capital for the move.
This offer began in October 2007 and will be open for two or three more months before the houses face demolition. Contact the organization below for more information.
The homes are located on North Orange Avenue, Sarasota, FL.
