The Schultz House, a three-story Victorian Gothic building is available for free to anyone that can move the building and clear the lot. The house was built in 1900 and has a noticeable architectural feature of a turret topped with a pointed spire. The building served as prior offices for a number of attorneys and accountants. However, the structure can easily be converted into a home with at least five bedrooms and one-and-a-half baths.

The house was originally built in 1900 on Main Street. In 1991, SH Tevis and Sons Inc. built the Jiffy Mart gas station and the structure was moved to the rear lot.  The house was then used consistently by commercial tenants, but since the 2008 economic crisis, it became more difficult to find commercial tenants. If no commercial tenants are found, the owners would like to use the space as parking for gas station customers.

The costs to move the house is estimated to be around $25,000 to $100,000.  Some of those costs could derive from clearing obstacles; such as trees, power lines, and mailboxes. Previous buildings have been moved half-a-block down the road for power line fees of $50,000 to $60,000.  This includes the power company dropping lines for about $1,000 to $1500 for each line in order for the moving company to drive across the power line. There are likely at least six or seven power lines to be cut and additional removal of trees. Another option, with its own costs, is to slice the building into partitions before moving the structure.

The building is located at 4110 Black Rock Rd. The structure has appraised at $104,100 for tax purposes and the land was appraised for $118,400. There is currently no deadline for the demolition or removal of the structure. The owners are open to considering commercial leasing, offering free for moving the structure, or even converting the building to residential apartments.
