In the historic district of Fisher Park is a two-story house being offered for free. The structure was converted to apartments in the 1930s and has been a rental since the 1940s.
It is on 701 N Greene Street at the intersection of Fisher Avenue and was built between 1905 and 1910. This will be the third building that will be relocated by the First Presbyterian Church in the last fifteen years. The church has plans for the land, so the house will need to be moved to another location. Any taxes will also have to be paid as part of the offer. The cost to move could cost at least $40,000.
